Following all conversations

Parlatorio has a new feature! You can now follow all conversations you participate using a single Atom feed:

http://parlatorio.net:8080/atom?owner=YOUR-OPENID

This feed will contain all the comments made by other people on your weblog (if you use Parlatorio), as well as all comments made on discussions that you've commented on. It's the best way to follow conversations and know when somebody commented.

Fixed bug

I just fixed a bug on Parlatorio. The XML HTTP Request object was not working properly in older versions (<7) of Internet Explorer, making commenting impossible. I fixed the Javascript code and updated the script on S3, so all blogs should work now.

Parlatorio installation as easy as it gets

I simplified the installation process for Blogger users. Now if you want to use Parlatorio all you have to do is drag a little link to your bookmarks toolbar — this is called a bookmarklet or favelet. Now all you have to do is open your Blogger template, select Expand Widget Templates and click the bookmark. You will be prompter for your OpenID (don't forget the http:// and the trailing slash!) and your template will be edited for you.

The bookmark should work with pretty much any template, and is non-destructive: the old comment links from Blogger is commented out, so you can always roll back to the old version.
